TASTE TEST Smuttynose Bmurky beer that allows a yellowish white head to grow out of the depths. The aroma O 88GNIT100AOUT OFRVLELAR and delivers a somewhat cloudy/GRAVITATIONNew Hampshireelgian-style quads are rare and somewhat confusing on their style specifics. This onefrom Smuttynose comes straight from is sweet. It delivers toffee, cotton candy, some sweet fruity esters, raisin and a hint of banana. When you get to taste the beer, you get a nice mix of banana, rum, and toffee that blend like an underripe Bananas Foster. You do get some of the alcohol coming through, which should mellow with age. We’re still confused what a Quad is supposed to be, but this one from Smuttynose has our attention.
