SOME OF RON’S FAVORITES: Mash Hop / Wet Hop / Dry Hop Experiment: No kettle hops used. Summit hops were mash hopped, Columbus and Simcoe went in the fermentation vessel, and keg was dryhopped with Amarillo leaf. 5.6%: ABV, 10.5: SRM, 58: IBU’s. Erin’s Pho—Vietnamese Soup in a Beer: Combination of Organic Ginger Root, Local Chili Peppers, Cilantro, Basil, and Key Lime juice steeped in a Copper Wheat beer stock. Hold the beef and bean sprouts. 6.8%: ABV, 11: SRM, 27: IBU’s. Song of the South IPA: Lots of local citrus peels and zest then back sweetened with orange blossom honey in a hop forward India Pale Ale. Back to School Special: Peanut Butter and Jelly Time! Tastes like the sandwich mommy used to make that got smashed by the apple in the lunch box. This time, she burnt the toast and left the crust on. Garnished with a Peanut Butter Goo Ball. 7%. ABV. but full of interesting Salsa-ish flavors. Maine accents in Florida...Floorriddaaa! Pepper, Cilantro and Lemongrass Wit: Unique aroma of Cilantro, Jalapeño and Poblano peppers coupled with mild lemongrass and spicy flavor. Not too spicy hot in the finish 5.6%: ABV, 8: SRM, 20: IBU’s. Nana’s Pink—Grapefruit IPA: Thanks to one of the regulars at the bar (Thanks Kyle!) who brought in grocery bags full of fresh local pink grapefruit, we now have an amazing IPA to enjoy. Only pink grapefruit zest and Chinook hops were used from mashing to dry hopping to create this grape fruity sensation. 8.1%: ABV, 10: SRM, 94: IBU’s. Fall Beer Series: Butternut Squash and Curry Amber Ale — 22 pounds of fresh butternut squash were baked and caramelized in the bakery and used in the mash and boil to add flavor and sweetness. Maharajah curry adds a unique spicy flavor and aromatics to the finish. Soup anyone? 5.6%: ABV, 14: SRM, 24 IBU’s.
